If your Kelvinator Air Conditioner isn't starting, here's what you can check: * **Check the power plug:** Ensure the plug is firmly pushed into the wall outlet. * **Examine the fuse or circuit breaker:** Replace the fuse with a time delay type or reset the circuit breaker if it has tripped. * **Selector Control position:** Make sure the Selector Control is not in the OFF position. Turn it to your desired FAN or COOL setting. * **Thermostat adjustments:** If you've recently adjusted the thermostat, wait approximately 3 minutes for the compressor to start. Also, ensure the thermostat isn't set too low; adjust it to a higher number for cooling. * **Restarting the unit:** If you turned the unit off and on quickly, turn it off and wait 3 minutes before restarting.
