ADJUSTING STITCH DENSITY
Depending upon the fabrics on which you are
sewing, or your own preference in button-
holes, you may alter buttonhole stitch density
by varying the original stitch length setting
within the green zone.
1. For more density, turn thediat away from
you.
2. For less density, turn the d_al toward you.

CORDED BUTTONHOLES
Hook filler cord (crotchet thread or button-
hole twist) to the spur (A), pull both ends of
cord forward under foot and tie to the spur
(B). Sew buttonhole in such a way that
zigzag stitches cover the cord.
When stitching is completed, release cord
from foot, pull ends of cord and snip off extra
length.
