Why is my Kenmore 795.5182 Refrigerator not cooling?
- TTrevor JonesAug 5, 2025
Several factors can cause a Kenmore Refrigerator not to cool. First, ensure the power cord is firmly plugged into a live outlet with the correct voltage. If the display shows “OFF,” the refrigerator might be in Demo Mode, which disables cooling. Refer to the Setting the Controls section for instructions on how to disable Demo Mode. Also, if the refrigerator was recently installed, allow up to 24 hours for each compartment to reach the desired temperature. Finally, if the refrigerator was recently relocated or stored on its side, let it stand upright for 24 hours before plugging it in.
