      Katherine FlynnAug 18, 2025
If your Kenmore Refrigerator and Freezer are not cooling, ensure the power supply cord is firmly plugged into a live outlet with the proper voltage. If the display shows “OFF,” the refrigerator might be in Demo Mode, which disables cooling to save energy. Refer to the Setting the Controls section for instructions on how to disable Demo Mode. If the refrigerator was recently installed, allow up to 24 hours for each compartment to reach the desired temperature. If the refrigerator was recently relocated or stored on its side, let it stand upright for 24 hours before plugging it in.
