that includes at least two pockets.
Minimum size requirement for the
tote bag is 12 inches in height and
12 inches in width. Be creative with
your design. See project sheet, page

• Sewing machine
• Serger (if available)
• Universal or ballpoint sewing
machine needles and/or regular
machine needles
• Basic sewing tool kit to
include:thread snips, tape measure,
sewing gauge, thimble, seam ripper,
dressmaker’s shears, dressmaker’s
pins and/or ballpoint pins, pin cush-
ion/magnet, thimble, hand sewing
needles (sharps and/or ballpoint)
• Iron and ironing board
• Invisible zipper foot
• Buonhole foot aachments for
sewing machine
• Cording foot
• Computer with Wild Things!

• Printer with paper

• Fabric (see paern for exact
amount; your leader/teacher will
have some fabric suggestions)
• Thread to match fabric
• Interfacing suited to fabric
(see paern for exact amount)
• Zipper to match fabric

fabric)
• Transparent tape for puing com-
puter printed paern together
* A commercial paern may be used for the
clothing option only. If using a knit fabric, be
sure to select a paern designed for knit using
the stretch gauge. A list of suggested paerns
will be available from your local county Exten-
sion oce each project year. Wild Things!
