10. From the drop down menu in the top
left corner, select “Fit to Paper,” change
the paper orientation to landscape on the
Print Setup screen.
11. Print the layout. Take your layout with
you to shop for fabric.
12. Save your layout to follow when cutting
your pattern out and include it with your
project documentation.
Putting It All Together – decide
how to before starting to sew
• The Wild Things! program includes a
“Help” document that has general sew-
ing instructions however; it does not
include instructions for sewing specific
pockets and adding zippers.
• For a zippered pocket, refer to instruc-
tions given for the Unit III Back Pack.
• Ask an adult leader to show you how
to apply zippers in other places and
how to sew the pockets.
• Refer to a sewing reference book such
as Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to
Sewing.
