ADJUSTMENT

DEMAGNETIZATION

Demagnetize the REC/PLAY head with a head demagnetizer.

CLEANING

Clean heads, capstan, and pinch roller with alcohol-dampened swab.

AZIMUTH

Align azimuth adjusting screw for optimal playback and recording.

PC BOARD

Adjustments related to the printed circuit board, e.g., tape speed.

TAPE SPEED

Adjust tape speed for HI SPEED and NORMAL modes using specified resistors.

PLAYBACK LEVEL

Adjust playback level to -3.8dBs using specified resistors.

BIAS CURRENT

Adjust bias current for recording/playback using variable resistors.

RECORD LEVEL

Set recording level to -27dBs at 1kHz for monitor output.

QUICK SENSOR
