• Thehoodshouldneverbeusedasasupportsurface,unlesssuchpossibility
hasbeenclearlyindicated.
• The kitchenhood is used to removekitchen vaporsoutside, it should
beconnectedtoadequateventilationduct(donotconnectittochimney,
smoke,flueductsinuse).
• If,inadditiontothehood,othernon-electricdevicesareusedintheroom
(e.g.liquidfuelstoves,flowheaters,thermostats),sufficientventilation
shouldbeensured.
• Unplugtheappliancefromthesocketbeforeeachcleaningoperation,
filterchangeorbeforecarryingoutanyrepairwork.
• Donotconnectthedevicetothemainsbeforecompletingassembly.
• All assemblyand maintenance operationsshould be carriedout using
protectivegloves.
• Before connecting the hood to the mains power supply and checking
itsproperoperation,alwayscheckthatthepowercablehasbeencorrectly
installedandthatithasnotbeencrushedbythehoodduringinstallation.
• Neverusethehoodwithoutproperlyinstalledfilters.
• To the range necessary for the application of technical and safety
measuresregardingthedischargeof flue gases,theregulationsissued
bythecompetentlocalauthoritiesmustbestrictlyobserved.
• Thekitchenhoodshouldbecleanedinsideandoutside(minonceatmonth,
according with maintenance tips given in these manual), overheated
fatisflammable.
• Under the kitchen hood do not leave the open fire. Set the minimum
flamewhenremovingdishesformtheburner.
• Theuseofopenfireisdangeroustofiltersandcreatestheriskoffire,
so do not under any circumstances. When frying, be careful not to
overheattheoilsothatitdoesnotignite.Availablepartscanbecome
veryhotifusedtogetherwithcookingappliances.
• Damagedthepowercordshouldbereplacedwithspecialcordavaiable
atmanufacturerorspecialistrepairshop.
• Thevaporscannotbedischargedinthechimneyductusedtoremoveflue
gasformappliancesburninggasorotherfules(donotapplytoclosed
circulation).
• Ifthecleaningprocessisnotcarriedoutaccordingtotheinstructions,
thereisariskoffire.
