Appendix B Skin type
According to regional and population differences, the human skin all
over the world can be roughly divided into six types (I to VI). Determine
the skin type I to IV by asking the patient about the skin reaction after 30
minutes sunlight exposure at noon in the early summer. The
determination of the skin type V and VI depends on the skin color (please
refer to the Table B-1).
