Remove packing tape, plug in brewer, and place mug or carafe on the drip tray.
Remove water reservoir, rinse, fill to MAX line, and securely replace.
Run a brew cycle without a pod to clean the single cup side.
Fill reservoir, press CUPS button to power on carafe side.
Run a brew cycle for the carafe to clean the heating plate and brewer.
Clean exit and entrance needles, check carafe capacity.
Check water level, needle clogs, or if brewer needs descaling.
Ensure brewer is powered on, plugged into a grounded outlet.
Check pod placement, water level, and if all buttons blink.
