DISASSEMBLY
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2.
Remove the radiator cowl upper cover.
3. Loosen the drive belt tension by turn auto-tensioner with spanner, and then remove the drive belt.
4.
Remove the cooling fan.
5.
Remove the water pump from cylinder block.
INSPECTION
1.
Check the pump for cracks, damage of wear. Replace the water pump assembly if necessary.
2. Check the bearing for damage, abnormal noise, and sluggish rotation. Replace the water pump
assembly if necessary.
3.
Check the seal for leaks. Replace the water pump assembly if necessary.
REASSEMBLY
1.
Install the water pump with new gasket to the cylinder block.
