Features of your vehicle Door locks
僅 If you lose your keys, Kia recommends
to visit an authorised Kia dealer/ser -
vice partner.
CAUTION
Do not change, alter or adjust the theft-
alarm system because it could cause the
theft-alarm system to malfunction have
the system serviced by a professional
workshop. Kia recommends to visit an
authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
Malfunctions caused by improper alter -
ations, adjustments or modifications to
the theft-alarm system are not covered
by your vehicle manufacturer warranty.
Door locks
Operating door locks from out -
side the vehicle
To remove the cover :
1. Pull out the door handle.
2. Press the lever (1) located inside the
bottom part of the cover with a key or
flat-head screwdriver.
3. Push out the cover (2) whilst pressing
the lever.
僅Turn the key (3) toward the rear of the
vehicle to unlock and toward the front
of the vehicle to lock.
僅If you lock/unlock the driver’s door
with a key, only the driver’s door will
lock/unlock.
僅 Doors can also be locked and
unlocked with the transmitter.
僅 Once the doors are unlocked, they
may be opened by pulling the door
handle.
僅When closing the door, push the door
by hand. Make sure the doors are
closed securely.
僅 When the vehicle’s battery run out
and you leave the vehicle, make sure
all the door are locked. You can lock
the driver’s door with a key and the
