If the devices are returned to their original locations, as shown in Figure 52, the map supervision function 
recognizes the detectors have been returned as originally installed and mapped, and no additional action is taken.

If the devices are returned to different locations, the map supervision function recognizes that previously mapped 
serial numbers occupy new map locations. When the mapping supervision function recognizes the need to remap 
the loop, the panel is put in the map pending state. In the map pending state, the panel automatically remaps the 
loop when the quantity of reinstalled devices is equal to or greater than the quantity of devices defined in the 
original map. If the control panel is connected to the computer running the VM-CU, the Current Status tab on the 
V-Series Status / Diagnostics window indicates Mapping Pending.
