Power on/off
• Turns the display ON or OFF
Tare
•
Weight tare: Place the receptacle (box, bowl etc…) on the scale, and when the reading is stable,
press tare key to tare the weight.
• To clear Tare, press their respective buttons.
Units key
• Use the key to shift between “kg”, “lb” and "oz" (oz is available on the KPS 2).
Hold key
• Use the key when the applied load is not a static load.
• Press the HOLD key and it will capture the reading once a stable reading occurs.
Turning Scale On/Off :
To turn the scale on, press the [ON / OFF] button scale will display and then enters the active weighing
mode.
To turn the scale off, press the [ON / OFF] button to turn it off.
Zero Operation :
When the display shows "0", the scale is ready to weigh. If the weight of the object exceeds the capacity of the
scale by more than 5%, the display shows "0000".
Objects can be added to the pan until the overload threshold is reached. The display shows the total weight of
all objects on the pan.
Changing Units of Measure :
In the weighing mode, use [UNIT] to display the next available measuring unit. Repeat process to scroll through all
units.
