5.2 Cleaning of the Condenser -
The condenser is positioned behind the unit’s grid, and at the front side of the
appliance. The condenser ventilation openings should never be blocked as this will
drastically reduce the performance of the unit.
The condenser fan in the refrigeration deck pulls air from behind the condenser. In
case of excessive dirt accumulation on the condenser fins, it will result in
insufficient heat exchange and therefore affects performance.
According to the working environment, it is advised that the condenser is cleaned
at least once every six months. To access the condenser for cleaning, follow the
below mentioned procedure:-
1. Unplug the unit from the wall socket.
2. Remove front grill by removing screws and lifting front grid upwards.
3. Using a vacuum cleaner or brush, remove the dust from the condenser fins
and straighten them. Always wear protective gloves, as the fins are very
sharp and could cause injuries.
4. Follow the above procedure in reverse to place the front grill back.
5.3 General Use Information -
Tips for energy saving and improved performance:
Loading stock into the unit at night time will ensure cold drinks first thing in
the morning.
Store your back-up stock in a cool and/or dark place so that reloaded
products will require less time to chill.
Wipe moisture from products before placing inside the unit.
Avoid opening the door for long period of time.
