Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Kingsman HBZDV3628?
    • R
      Rebecca ThomasAug 17, 2025
If the pilot light on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, it could be due to a defective thermocouple or flame switch. Ensure the pilot flame properly hits the generator and thermocouple. Clean or adjust the pilot for maximum flame contact. If it still doesn't hold, replace the thermocouple, tightening it by hand plus an additional 1/8 turn. If replacing the thermocouple doesn't solve the issue, the valve magnet may be defective, requiring valve replacement.

How to fix a spark igniter that won't light on a Kingsman HBZDV3628 Indoor Fireplace?
    • B
      Brendan WarrenAug 22, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting, it could be due to a defective or misaligned electrode at the pilot. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, you may need to replace the igniter. It could also be a defective igniter (push-button). Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and push the red button again. If the pilot still won't light, check that the gap at the electrode and pilot is between 1/8” to 1/4” to ensure a strong spark.

Why does my Kingsman HBZDV3628 Indoor Fireplace have frequent pilot outages?
    • D
      Darrell BarnesAug 26, 2025
Frequent pilot outages in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace could be due to the pilot flame being too low or being blown out by a high draft, causing the pilot safety to drop out. Cleaning and/or adjusting the pilot flame for maximum flame impingement on the generator and thermocouple may resolve this issue.

What to do if the flame lifts off the burner and goes out quickly in my Kingsman HBZDV3628?
    • J
      Julie LewisAug 28, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner and goes out in less than 30 seconds in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it's possible the inner 4” liner has detached from the flue or termination, causing the flame to not get enough oxygen. Reattach the 4” liner to the flue or termination using screws, silicone, and clamps as described in the manual.

Why is the flame lifting off the burner on one side of my Kingsman HBZDV3628?
    • T
      Thomas BurkeAug 30, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner on one side while the rest of the flame remains lit in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it's likely due to improper installation of the firebrick, where the firebrick is leaning. Make sure to position the firebrick against the firebox walls and use brick clips attached to the inner side of the firebox.

    • P
      Pamela YoungSep 5, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting, here are a few things to check: * **Electrode Issues:** Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, you may need to replace the igniter. * **Igniter Functionality:** Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the red button again. If the pilot still won't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be between 1/8” to 1/4” for a strong spark.

    • J
      julie26Sep 8, 2025
If you're experiencing frequent pilot outages with your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it might be due to the pilot flame being too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. Matthew FarleySep 13, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner and goes out in less than 30 seconds on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it may be that the inner 4” liner has come off the flue or termination, causing the flame to starve for oxygen. What to do if the pilot light is on but there's no gas to the burner in my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace?
    • M
      Mallory HollandNov 18, 2025
If your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace's pilot light is on, the valve knob and wall switch are in the 'ON' position, but there's no gas to the burner, the issue could stem from several causes. First, the wall switch or its wiring might be faulty; check the switch and wires for secure connections and try bypassing the wall switch by using a jumper wire across its terminals. If the burner ignites, replace the defective wall switch. If the switch is fine, use jumper wires across the wall switch wires at the valve to test for faulty wires or bad connections. Alternatively, the generator might not be producing enough voltage; test the generator with a millivolt meter at the gas valve terminals—it should read at least 325 millivolts with the valve knob depressed in pilot position and the wall switch ...
