How to fix a Kingsman Indoor Fireplace spark igniter that won't light?
    • T
      Timothy SmithAug 18, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace won't light, first check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, then you should replace the igniter. If the igniter is a push-button type, try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try pushing the red button again. If the pilot still won't light, verify that the gap at the electrode and pilot is between 1/8” to 1/4” to ensure a strong spark.

      Christie WilsonAug 23, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner on one side while the rest of the flame remains lit on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it's likely due to improper installation of the firebrick, which may be leaning. Make sure to position the firebrick against the firebox walls and use brick clips attached to the inner side of the firebox.

Why does the flame lift off and go out quickly on my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace?
    • S
      Stephanie BrownSep 5, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner and goes out in less than 30 seconds in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, the inner 4” liner may have come off the flue or termination, causing the flame to starve for oxygen. Reattach the 4” liner to the flue or termination using screws, silicone, and clamps as specified in the manual.

      Kelly FordNov 11, 2025
If the pilot light on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit after following the lighting instructions, several issues could be the cause. The thermocouple may be defective, so ensure the pilot flame impinges on both the generator and thermocouple, and clean or adjust the pilot for maximum flame impingement. If it still won't hold, replace the thermocouple, tightening it by hand plus an additional 1/8 turn. If replacing the thermocouple doesn't work, the valve may be defective and needs replacement. Also, check the wall switch and wires for proper connections by using a jumper wire across the terminals at the wall switch. If the burner comes on, replace the defective wall switch.
