Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace?
    • D
      David MartinJul 31, 2025
If the pilot light on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit after you've followed the lighting instructions, it could be due to a defective thermocouple. Ensure the pilot flame properly touches both the generator and thermocouple. Clean and adjust the pilot for the best flame impingement. If it still won't hold, replace the thermocouple, tightening it by hand and then an additional 1/8 turn. If the pilot still doesn’t hold, the valve magnet may be defective, requiring valve replacement.

What to do if the pilot light is on but there's no gas to the burner in my Kingsman ZDV3624?
    • H
      hgarrisonAug 5, 2025
If the pilot light is on, but there's no gas going to the burner even though the valve knob and wall switch are in the 'ON' position, there are several potential causes. The wall switch or its wiring might be defective; check the connections and use a jumper wire across the terminals to test. If the burner comes on, replace the switch. Also check the wires at the valve. The generator may not be producing enough voltage; test it with a millivolt meter and replace if it reads below 325 millivolts. A plugged burner orifice could also be the problem; inspect and clear any blockage. Lastly, the automatic valve operator might be defective; test it by removing the wall switch wires and installing jumper wires on the gas valve terminals. If the burner still doesn't light, replace the valve.

How to fix a spark igniter that won't light on a Kingsman ZDV3624 Indoor Fireplace?
    • N
      Nicholas TaylorAug 10, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting, it could be due to a defective or misaligned electrode at the pilot. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the igniter. Alternatively, the igniter itself (push-button) might be defective. Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the red button again. If it still won't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be between 1/8” to 1/4” for a strong spark.

Why does my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace frequently experience pilot outages?
    • C
      Charles BarrAug 16, 2025
Frequent pilot outages in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace can be caused by a pilot flame that's either too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. To resolve this, clean and/or adjust the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the generator and thermocouple.

What to do if the flame lifts off the burner and goes out quickly in my Kingsman ZDV3624 Indoor Fireplace?
    • W
      wallerallenAug 20, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner and goes out in less than 30 seconds in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it's likely due to the inner 4” liner detaching from the flue or termination, causing the flame to lack oxygen. Reattach the 4” liner to the flue or termination using screws, silicone, and clamps as specified in the manual.

Why does the flame lift off the burner on one side of my Kingsman ZDV3624 Indoor Fireplace?
    • N
      Nicole WellsAug 26, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner on one side while the rest of the flame remains lit in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace, it's likely due to improper installation of the firebrick, where the firebrick is leaning. Ensure the firebrick is positioned against the firebox walls and use brick clips attached to the inner side of the firebox.
