How to fix a spark igniter that won't light on my Kingsman ZV3600N?
    • U
      uwheelerAug 17, 2025
If the spark igniter isn't lighting, the electrode at the pilot might be defective or misaligned. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, you may need to replace the igniter. Another possibility is a defective igniter (push-button type). Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the red button again. If the pilot still doesn't light, verify the gap between the electrode and pilot is between 1/8” and 1/4” to ensure a strong spark.

Why does my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace have frequent pilot outage problem?
    • J
      James WrightAug 28, 2025
Frequent pilot outages in your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace could be due to the pilot flame being too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. To fix this, clean and/or adjust the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the generator and thermocouple.

How to fix a Kingsman ZV3600N Indoor Fireplace spark igniter that will not light?

If the spark igniter on your Kingsman Indoor Fireplace won't light, the issue could be a defective or misaligned electrode at the pilot. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the igniter. Alternatively, the igniter itself (push-button) might be defective. Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and push the red button again. If the pilot still won't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be 1/8” to 1/4” to have a strong spark.

Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Kingsman Indoor Fireplace?

      Ian OrtizNov 10, 2025
Several factors can cause the pilot light to extinguish after ignition. The safety spill switch might be defective; in that case, ensure the pilot flame properly touches the generator and thermocouple. Clean or adjust the pilot for optimal flame impingement. Check that the spill safety switch wires are securely connected to the valve. If issues persist, try unplugging the spill switch wires at the valve and connecting the thermocouple wires (blue). If this resolves the issue, the spill switch is likely defective. Alternatively, the thermocouple itself could be defective and need replacement. A defective valve magnet might also be the cause. To test this, turn the valve knob to “On” and the wall switch to “On,” then check the millivolt meter for a reading greater than 100mV. If the reading ...

What to do if the Kingsman Indoor Fireplace pilot will not stay lit?
    • E
      Eric DavisNov 22, 2025
If the pilot light won't stay lit after following the lighting instructions, and the valve knob and wall switch are 'ON', several issues could be the cause. A defective safety spill switch could be the reason; ensure the pilot flame impinges on the generator and thermocouple, and that the wire connections from the spill safety switch are secure. If the pilot still doesn’t light, unplug the spill switch wires at the valve and then plug the thermocouple wires (blue in color) together. If this works, the spill switch is defective. Other potential causes include a defective thermocouple (replace it), a defective valve magnet (replace the gas valve if a millivolt meter reads greater than 100mV), a defective wall switch or wires (check and correct connections or replace the switch/wires), the ge...
