(1) Front Wheel Drive Lever
“ENGAGED” “DISENGAGED”
051O526C
FRONT WHEEL DRIVE IS EFFEC-
TIVE FOR THE FOLLOWING JOBS:
1. When greater pulling force is needed,
such as working in a wet field, when
pulling a trailer or when working with
front-end loader.
2. When working in sandy soil.
3. When working on a hard soil where
a rotary tiller might push the tractor
forward.
To avoid personal injury:
You should not engage your front
wheel drive while traveling at
road speeds. This can cause
your tractor to stop quickly, and
unexpectedly.
IMPORTANT
Engage the front wheel drive
only when the engine stops and
do not shift if in drive.
Tires will wear quickly if front
wheel drive is engaged on
paved roads.
Damage to the drive train may be
caused due to operation of 4WD
on roads or pave surfaces.
