3. Remove Belt 60S2M250 (3).
Replace it with a new one.
NOTE
It is possible to adjust the tension of Belt 60S2M250 (3) by moving the Tension Pulleys (2)
up and down.
(Screws (1) must be loosed at this time.)
Prepare a Tension Gage (4) and a Scale (5) like the following photo, and adjust the tension
so that the bend of belt becomes 3mm when 150gf +/-50g is given.
Please satisfy the following requirements when you adjust the tension.
(1) Confirm that Belt 60S2M250 (3) and Pulley Assemblies (6) are surely in gear with each
other.
If you adjust the tension although they are not in gear, Belt 60S2M250 (3) may be
too much loosed as soon as you start machine operation.
(2) Adjust the tension with Upper Unit closed.
You can not adjust the tension properly if it is opened.
