  If your Kipor Portable Generator engine doesn't start or is hard to start, here are a few things to check: * The fuel filter, fuel tank tube, or fuel switch might be clogged - clean them. * The carburetor, ignition coil, spark plug, trigger, igniter or ignition winding might be faulty - inspect and replace if necessary. * Ensure the spark plug cap is securely installed. * Inspect and replace the low oil alarm if it's faulty. * Make sure the throttle is set in the fully closed or half-closed position.

  If you're having trouble starting your Kipor Portable Generator, here are a few things to consider: * Make sure there is fuel in the generator. Add fuel and restart the engine. * If the spark plug is wet, clean the electrode and restart the engine, being careful not to close the choke too much. * If there's no spark, perform the ignition system troubleshooting. * If there is low cylinder compression: 1. Check the valve clearance. 2. Check for carbon deposits in the combustion chamber. 3. Check the valve cone and base. 4. Check for worn piston, piston ring or cylinder.
