Why did my KitchenAid Kitchen Appliances Multi-Cooker turn off by itself?

The KitchenAid Kitchen Appliances Multi-Cooker has an auto shutoff feature. Depending on the cooking method, it will automatically shut off after up to 12 hours, or 24 hours when in Keep Warm mode.
