TROUBLESHOOTING
7. You hear CO
2
escaping from
the Carbonator:
• There may be a pressure leak between
the CO
2
Carbonator holder and the valve.
Screw the CO
2
Carbonator tighter into
its tting. Do not use tools.
8. If you experience poor carbonation:
• If you have not yet added avor, try to
carbonate to a higher carbonation level.
• Check the CO
2
Carbonator. You might
be out of CO
2
.
• Make sure that you are carbonating
chilled water.
9. Water overows from the carbonating
bottle during carbonation:
• Check that the carbonating bottle is lled
just to the ll line.
• Verify that the carbonating bottle is rmly
installed in the Snap-Lock. Check by gently
pulling the bottom of the bottle. If it feels
loose, then remove and reinsert.
10. If your sparkling drink is not
avorful enough:
• Just add more avor to taste.
• Do not re-carbonate after adding
the avor.
11. Small pieces of ice appear in the
water during carbonation:
• This might happen when carbonating
very cold water. If this happens, shorten
the time of each press until the ice stops
appearing or it can affect the carbonation.
Any ice created will simply melt.
• Ice can form and restrict the ow of
CO
2
into the bottle during repeated
heavy carbonation. Allow a few minutes
between carbonating several bottles to
maintain normal carbonation time.
WARNING: If you suspect your
Sparkling Beverage Maker is damaged, stop
using it immediately and call for service.
See “Warranty” section for more
information.
12. The gauge is not working:
You may need to replace the batteries as
shown in the “Care and cleaning’” section.
