Aux audio input
Using the Aux audio input
With the Swing in FM mode, press the Mode button (8) to enable aux mode. Connect one end of an aux
cable (not supplied) into the aux port (14) on the Swing and insert the other end into the headphone
socket on your device. Sound will now be heard through the Swing. Whilst in aux mode, you can:
1. Press the Volume– (9) or Volume+ button (12) to decrease or increase the volume
2. Use sleep mode (same setup as in FM mode)
Note: Volume is controlled on both your device and the Swing. Track control functions can only be done
on the device.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your device will have an internal amplifier and if it is playing digital files like MP3s it will also have an
integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter). If you turn up the volume to 100%, your device will be sending
distorted signals to the Swing. To avoid this and to get the best sound quality from the speaker, we
recommend that you do not run your device any higher than 95% volume.
