Why does my KKT Chiller refrigerating machine start and stop frequently?
    • A
      anthonyjohnAug 15, 2025
If your KKT Chiller's refrigerating machine starts and stops frequently, it could be due to insufficient fresh air supply to the condenser, causing the high-pressure pressostat to protect the machine from overload. Ensure adequate fresh air supply and removal, and eliminate any short-circuit between fresh and exhaust air. Alternatively, there might be insufficient pressure in the refrigerant circuit due to a refrigerant leak. Locate the leak, seal it, and refill the circuit.

How to troubleshoot malfunction of plant/system in KKT Chiller?
    • E
      Elizabeth TorresAug 18, 2025
If your KKT Chiller plant/system is malfunctioning, several causes could be responsible. It might be due to a power failure, so check the mains connection. Another possibility is a defective thermostat feeler; inspect the feeler by clamping it and measuring the resistance. Also, a feeler malfunction could be the cause. In this case, check the thermostat by bridging the feeler to see if the thermostat relay shuts and the compressor starts.

Why KKT Chiller is not providing enough refrigeration power?

      Kristin SmithAug 22, 2025
If your KKT Chiller isn't providing enough refrigeration power, there are several potential causes. You might have air in the water circuit, so vent the system. It's also possible that the water agitation quantity has fallen below the minimum; ensure the water pipe cross-section is correctly designed, open the check valve in the water circuit completely, or increase the pipe cross-section. Check for enough fresh air supply for condenser and eliminate any short-circuit across fresh air and exhaust air. Finally, there might not be enough refrigerant in the circuit; find the leak, seal it, and refill the circuit.

What to do if KKT Chiller pump is malfunctioning?
    • D
      David RiveraAug 26, 2025
If your KKT Chiller's pump is malfunctioning, first ensure the main switch is on and the control switch is set to 'AUTO'. Check for defective fuses, including the main fuse and the fuse for control current, and replace them if necessary. If the pump motor is defective, replace it. Also, verify the water quantity if the flow controller has responded. Finally, check for a shortage of water by inspecting the system pressure and cleaning the strainer.

Why does my KKT Chiller compressor stop?
    • M
      Mary WatkinsAug 28, 2025
If the compressor in your KKT Chiller stops, it could be due to a tripped Klixon/INT69. Allow the compressor to cool down, and consider cleaning the condenser or improving fresh air supply. If the Klixon/INT69 is defective, replace it.

What causes still malfunction of refrigerating machine in KKT Chiller?
    • O
      owensmariaSep 1, 2025
If your KKT Chiller's refrigerating machine is still malfunctioning, it could be due to several reasons. Check for low pressure in the refrigerant circuit; find any leaks, seal them, and refill the circuit. A dirty dryer in the liquid pipe could also be the cause, so replace the dryer. Additionally, inspect the pressure relief valve and solenoid valve in the liquid pipe, replacing them if defective. High pressure in the refrigerant circuit might be the issue, so clean the condenser. If the fan is defective, identify and fix the electrical cause and check the fuses. High outside temperatures can also cause problems, so spray the condenser with water. Lastly, a defective pressostat for condenser control should be replaced.

What to do if still malfunction of pump in KKT Chiller?
    • J
      jeremywallaceSep 4, 2025
If your KKT Chiller pump continues to malfunction, it could be due to an overload trip of the pump protection interrupting the control circuit. Set the main switch to '0' and push in the overload trip.

Why electrical heater in water circuit of KKT Chiller does not work?
    • J
      juliemooreSep 7, 2025
If the electrical heater in your KKT Chiller's water circuit isn't working, it could be because the electrical heating box has exceeded 266°F (130°C), causing an automatic switch to break the contact. The reset (located under the heater cover) must be manually pressed. Also, control the pressure from the water circuit and prepare the cause of water lack and fill the water circuit, if necessary. Finally, control the Parameter of the temperature controller witch switches the heater and set the right Parameter in the temperature controller (which switches the electrical heater), if necessary.

Why does the KKT Chiller pump make a gurgling noise?
    • L
      Larry SmithSep 12, 2025
If your KKT Chiller pump makes a gurgling noise, the circuit is likely not completely vented. Vent the system and fill it up with water/Ethylene glycol.
