Decalcication
After you have used the coee or steam function about 500 times, the
device must be decalcied manually. Proceed as follows:
1. Add some descaler to the water tank (approximately 10 g) and then ll the
water tank with fresh water up to the maximum mark.
2. After you have switched on the appliance and the preheating process is
complete, turn the steam knob to the
position. The water is now
pumped through the pipe.
3. During descaling, occasionally turn the steam knob to the
, position
to allow a small amount of descaler to ow out of the funnel outlet.
4. After about 2 minutes, the device will stop operating.
5. Now turn the steam knob to the
position and then back to the
position. The device will again start pumping water through the pipe. Repeat
this step approximately 5 times until the water tank is completely empty.
6. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum mark and switch
the steam knob to the
position and then back to the position
periodically until the pumping process is complete.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Switch o the device immediately and pull the power plug out of the socket.
Let the device cool down completely.
2. Rub the outside of the unit with a damp cloth or clean sponge.
Note: Do not use alcohol or liquid cleaners and do not submerge the unit in
water for cleaning.
3. Take out the coee funnel and remove the coee powder residue from the
lter.
