These Operating Instructions are intended to help you learn about the

special-purpose insulation stripper and use it correctly for its intended

purpose.

These Operating Instructions contain important information about the safe

and efcient operation of the tool. By following these instructions, you can

the service ife of the equipment. This special-purpose insulation stripper

Its primary function is to precisely remove insulation from single- and multi-core cables, as well as hybrid leads and Teflon cables, without damaging the underlying conductors.

Function Description:

The insulation stripper operates by precisely cutting and stripping away the insulation of a cable. It consists of a fixed base plate (10) and a pivoting base plate (11), which house a series of blade holders (1 to 4) and blades (5 to 8). A length stop (9) allows for precise adjustment of the strip length, ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm. The tool's design ensures that the stripping process is independent of the insulating material's strength, making it versatile for a wide range of applications, including system handling work involving hybrid exterior sheaths, interior insulation, and ribbon cables. The blades are marked for specific cross-sections, ensuring accurate cutting based on the cable's specifications.

Cross-section Range: The tool is capable of stripping cables with a cross-section from 0.03 to 16 mm² (AWG 32 - 6).

Blade Replacement: Blades can be changed by loosening an Allen head bolt (13), removing the old blades (5 to 8), inserting new blades onto the locking pins (14) on the blade holders (1 to 4) with the smooth side facing inwards, and then locking them in place with the Allen key (13). It is important to change a complete blade unit each time.
Safety Precaution: Always isolate wires from the power supply before use. The manual also warns of the danger of injury from sharp blades during blade changes.
