The KNIPEX BIX® is engineered to precisely cut various types of plastic pipes and sealing sleeves. Its design allows for two distinct applications, each requiring a specific blade block position:

Cutting plastic pipes: For this application, the blade should be positioned in the middle of the tool. It can cut plastic pipes with diameters ranging from 20-50 mm, provided the wall thickness does not exceed 2.4 mm. The piece to be cut must be at least 25 mm long to ensure proper operation.
Cutting sealing sleeves: When cutting sealing sleeves, the blade must be on the outside of the tool. It is suitable for sleeves with a wall thickness of up to 3.4 mm.

The tool's mechanism ensures that the cut-off material remains within the tool, preventing it from falling down and contributing to a cleaner work environment.
