Question on Range Extender
Question: After setup is done, Camera and parent unit
are still directly connected. Range Extender is not in
operation ?
Answer:
• On the Range Extender unit, check that System
LED blinks blue every 1 second and Extend LED is
lighted up.
• Switch O and On the Camera. When video
streaming works, check the icon " " is visible
on parent unit.
Question: Sometimes, Range Extender stops working
in the connection between BU and PU ?
Answer:
• On the Range Extender unit, check that System
LED blinks blue every 1 second and Extend LED is
solid green or not.
• Switch O and On the Camera. When done, re-
select the PU mode to Direct Mode if needed.
Question: What happen if the existing Range Extender
is paired with another Cherish baby monitor in the
same user account?
Answer:
• One Range Extender can only work with one
Cherish baby monitor set (including a parent unit
connect to some Cameras - up to 4). In case of
pairing the existing Range Extender with another
Cherish set, then the Range Extender will only work
with the last paired Camera.
• The original Cherish set will not have the Range
Extender in between anymore.
