Why is there too much foam when pouring beer from my Koenig bw1880?
- KKristin MontoyaJul 27, 2025
Excessive foam when pouring beer from your Koenig Freezer can occur for several reasons. It could be due to an incorrect pouring technique, or the beer temperature might be too high; ideally, it should be between 3-5°C. Shaking the keg before use, having almost no beer left in the keg, or excessive pressure within the keg can also cause this issue. To resolve this, try using the correct pouring method, cooling the beer to the recommended temperature, letting the keg sit until the bubbles dissipate, replacing the keg, or adjusting the pressure knob to decrease the pressure.
