Engine Backfire/Flash Fire
WARNING
Fire.
Can cause severe injury or death.
Do not smoke or permit flame or spark to occur
near fuel or fuel system.
Servicing fuel system. A flash fire can cause
severeinjuryordeath. Donotsmokeorpermitflame
orsparktooccurnearcarburetor,fuelline,fuelfilter,fuel
pump, or other potential sources of spilled fuel or fuel
vapors. Catch all fuel in a suitable container when
removing fuel line or carburetor.
Servicing air cleaner. A sudden backfire can cause
severeinjuryordeath. Donotoperatewithaircleaner
removed.
