1.8.8 Optional Remote Engine Start Connection
A remote start switch can be connected to the generator set. Connect the engine start leads from a remote start switch to
terminals 3 and 4 on the terminal block. See Figure 18. Route the engine start leads through separate conduit from the AC
accessory power leads.

generator set. Open the contact to stop the generator set.
