Is the fuel solenoid
functioning
correctly?
Check the oil level.
Repair/ replace oil pump.
Does the engine have proper oil
pressure? Use a mechanical
gauge to verify pressure.
Does the K5 relay LED
light after 5--10 seconds
of running time?
Yes
Does the engine continue
to run after the start
switch is released?
Yes

Does the K1
relay LED light?
Can the engine be stopped
by using the stop switch?
Yes
Generator set
checks out okay.
