Turn off key switch.
Do Not Touch Digital Linear Actuator (DLA)
NOTE: DLA is not a solenoid. It is a precision electronic motor. Do not exert force to center clevis shaft!
Visually inspect DLA and Linkage. See illustrations on pages 37 and 38.
Reinstall using procedure on page 38 (see illustrations on pages 37 and 38)
or replace DLA and follow adjustment procedure on page 38.
Confi rm that:
1. Clevis shaft and boot in place.
2. Clip attached.
3. DLA wire attached.
Fail if

Clevis shaft and boot are out of DLA.
Test control system of equipment. Refer to Equipment
Manufacturer’s diagnostic procedures for control system.
Go to Speed Input Wire Test on next page.
Start/test run unit for engine speed control operation.
