3. Disconnect the thro le position sensor connector.
See Figure 8-25.

4. Disconnect the vent hose from the thro le body.
See Figure 8-26.

5. Slide the thro le body o the intake manifold.
Remove Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
1. Remove the two hex ange screws securing the
ECU to the bracket. See Figure 8-27.

2. Disconnect the Black and Grey electrical
connectors from the ECU. See Figure 8-28.

Remove Electronic Control Unit Bracket
and Electric Starter Motor
1. Disconnect the leads from the starter.
2. Remove the two hex ange screws. See Figure 8-29.
