Why is my Kohler Courage SV740 leaking oil from the seals and gaskets?

If your Kohler Engine is leaking oil from the oil seals and gaskets, the following could be the cause: * A broken breather reed. Repair or replace the broken breather reed. * A clogged crankcase breather. Repair or replace the crankcase breather. * Loose or improperly torqued fasteners. Tighten all loose fasteners. * Restricted exhaust. Remove restrictions from the exhaust. Also, inspect for piston blow by or leaky valves and repair or replace leaky valves.
