If your Kohler Engine starts but fails to keep running, several factors could be the cause: * Wrong size piston rings. * Worn valve stems and/or valve guides. * Idle speed set too slow. * Restricted fuel tank vent or fuel tank filler cap. * Improperly adjusted idle mixture needle or carburetor. * Incorrect oil viscosity. * Broken choke cable. * Dirt or water in the fuel system. * Breaker points not properly adjusted. * Defective spark plugs.
