METHOD FOR CHANGING OIL IN POWER TRAIN CASE AND CLEANING
STRAINER
WARNING
• Immediately
after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn in-
jury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
• The undercover is a heavy object. Do not open or close the cover just under it. When removing the
bolts, perform the work from the rear of the cover so that you can easily get out of the way.
Container to catch the drained oil: 150 ℓ or more
Refill capacity: 150 ℓ
1.
Remove the cover under rear of the machine.
2.
Take out the hose (1) and loosen the drain plug (2) to drain
the oil.
3.
After draining the oil, tighten the drain plug (2).
4.
Remove the rear cover (3) of the L.H. side cover and the
cover (4) on the L.H. fender
.
5.
Loosen the bolt (5) and remove the case (6).
6.
Take out the strainer (7) and magnet (8).
If strainer (7) and magnet (8) are broken, replace them
with new ones.
