1.
Remove
the nut (2) of breather assembly (1) on the top of
the hydraulic tank.
2.
Remove the cover (3).
3.
Replace the breather element (4) with a new one.
4.
Install the cover (3) and nut (2).

Check the pulley for play and grease leakage.
If any abnormality is found, ask your Komatsu distributor for re-
pair or replacement.
