METHOD FOR REPLACING TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER ELEMENT

WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.
Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
Items to be prepared
Container to catch the drained oil
1.
Remove the bolts (1) (3 pieces) and remove the cover (2).
2.
Place a container to catch the drained oil under the trans-
mission oil filter (3).
3.
Remove the plug (4) of the transmission oil filter (3), and
drain the oil.
4.
After draining the oil, tighten the plug (4).
Tightening torque of drain plug: 49 to 58.8 Nm {5 to 6 kgm}
5.
Loosen the hexagonal portion (6) of the filter case (5), and
remove the filter case (5).
6.
Take out the element, and clean the inside of the case.
7.
Replace the O-ring of the transmission oil filter with a new
one.
Thinly apply clean oil to the O-ring, and install it.
8.
Install a new element to the filter case (5).
Tightening torque of filter case: 58.8 to 78.5 Nm {6 to
8 kgm}
9.
Install the cover (2) with bolts (1) (3 pieces).
10.
Start the engine.
Run the engine at low idle for a while (1 minute or more).
11.
Check that the oil level in the transmission case, and that it reaches the specified level.
Replace the element immediately if the transmission oil filter clogging caution lamp lights up when the engine is
running at high idle and the oil is warmed.
METHOD FOR CHECKING WEAR OF FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS

Be sure to check the wear amount of the brake disc.
If the wear amount of the disc has exceeded the wear limit, the machine cannot stop at the specific dis-
tance due to the prolonged braking distance, and a serious personal injury or death may result.
Perform the check every 250 hours in the site where is sandy or requires braking frequently, since the pads will
wear earlier.
