PRECAUTIONS WHEN TRANSPORTING
WARNING
This machine must be disassembled for transportation. When transporting the machine, please consult your Komatsu
distributor.
STEPS FOR TRANSPORTATION
As a basic rule, always transport the machine on a trailer.
When selecting the trailer, see the weights and dimensions given in Section SPECIFICATIONS (PAGE 5-2).
Note that the specifications for the weights and dimensions for transportation differ according to the type of tires and
type of dump body.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN LOADING
Load the machine onto a trailer as follows:
1. Set the parking brake switch to the PARKING position to apply
the parking brake.
2.
Turn the starting switch to the OFF position to stop the engine,
and pull out the starting switch key.
3.
Lock the front frame and rear frame with the articulation lock.
