Items to be prepared
• Container to catch the drained oil
• Handle
1.
Set the TOP mark at the top with the line running on TOP
mark and plug (P) perpendicular to the ground surface.
2.
Place a container under plug (P) to receive the oil.
3.
Remove the plugs (P) and (F) by using the handle, and
drain the oil.
REMARK
Check the O-rings attached to the plugs for damage. If
necessary, replace them with new ones.
4.
Tighten the plug (P).
5.
Refill oil through plug (F) hole.
6.
When oil begins to overflow from the plug (F) hole, install
the plug (F).
Tightening torque of plugs (P) and (F): 93.1 to 122.5 Nm
{9.5 to 12.5 kgm}
METHOD FOR CLEANING HYDRAULIC TANK STRAINER
WARNING
• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• If the oil filler cap is removed without releasing the internal pressure, oil will spurt out, so turn the
oil filler cap slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it carefully.
• Loosen the bolts (4 pieces) gradually, otherwise the cover (1) may jump out due to the spring (2)
when removing the cover.
