METHOD FOR REPLACING HYDRAULIC TANK BREATHER ELEMENT
WARNING
• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spout out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pres-
sure, then remove it carefully.
REMARK
The element can be replaced while the breather is installed to the tank. When the breather is removed, do not
cover the taper thread part of the breather with sealing tape when installing it again. Take care not to tighten it
too strong.

Set the bottom of bucket to be level, and lower the work equipment to the ground.
2.
Set the parking brake switch to ON position (operate).
3.
Stop the engine.
4.
Open cover (1) at the right side of cab, and fix it with the
bar.
5.
Before removing the breather, wipe off dirt and dust around
it.
6.
Remove the cap of oil filler port (F).
7.
Remove snap ring (3) of breather (2), and remove breather
cap (4).
8.
Replace breather element (5) with a new one.
9.
Install breather cap (4) and snap ring (3).
10.
Close the cap of oil filler port (F).
11.
Release the lock of cover (1), then close the cover.
METHOD FOR CHANGING OIL IN AXLE CASE
WARNING
• When changing the oil, apply the parking brake and secure the front and rear frames with the frame
lock bar.
• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• When removing the plug, oil may spurt out, so turn it slowly to release the internal pressure, then
remove it carefully.
