1. Turn starting switch to OFF position.
2. Disconnect PC0 and PLDW.
Resistance
Between PC0 (female) (20) and PLDW (female) (1) Max. 1 z
Between PC0 (female) (40) and PLDW (female) (2) Max. 1 z

Hot short circuit in wiring harness
(short to 24 V power supply circuit)
1. Turn starting switch to OFF position.
2. Disconnect PC0 and connect T-adapters.
3. Start engine and perform troubleshooting.
Voltage Between PC0 (female) (20) and (40) Max. 1 V
3 Defective ladder LOWER solenoid
1. Turn starting switch to OFF position.
2. Disconnect connector PLDW.
Resistance
Between PLDW (male) (1) and (2) 15 to 30 z
Between PLDW (male) (1) and ground Min. 1 Mz
4 Defective power ladder controller
If no failure is found by check on causes 1 to 3, power ladder controller may be
defective. (Since this is an internal defect, troubleshooting cannot be per-
formed.)
