Why is the Kongskilde Blower capacity so poor?
    • G
      Gabriela AllenAug 10, 2025
Several factors can cause poor capacity in your Kongskilde Blower. The intake nozzle may not be correctly adjusted, so adjust the intake nozzle. The PTO speed might be too low; it should be a maximum of 1100 RPM. Worn or loose belts can also be a culprit; replace or tighten them. An incorrectly arranged pipe system can cause this issue as well. If conveying air released from the pressure side builds up pressure in a silo, hopper, etc., which lacks a vent, open it to allow the conveying air to escape. If material is being sucked from a silo without a vent, open the silo to allow air to enter. Moist or dirty grain reduces flow rate and specific gravity, decreasing capacity. Finally, worn rotary valve seals can lead to poor capacity; replace the seals.

What to do if Kongskilde Blower has no capacity but is working?

      Jessica HebertAug 26, 2025
If your Kongskilde Blower is running but has no capacity, it could be due to a few reasons. The pipe system might be blocked, in which case you should clear it. A foreign object may have jammed the drum of the rotary valve; remove the object and check the valve for damage. Alternatively, the rotary valve may have stopped because of a worn or slack V-belt; replace or tighten the V-belt.
