E. Remove the Water Distribution Tube
K170/K210/K270 Water Distribution Tube Removal
• Loosen the two thumbscrews, which secure the
distribution tube.
• Lift the right side of the distribution tube up off the
locating pin, then slide it back and to the right.
Disassembly
• Twist both of the inner tube ends until the tabs line up
with the keyways.
• Pull the inner tube ends outward.
Water Distribution Tube Disassembly
F. Remove the Float Valve
• Turn the splash shield counterclockwise one or two
turns.
Float Valve Removal
• Pull the float valve forward and off the mounting
bracket.
• Disconnect the water inlet tube from the float valve at
the compression fitting.
• Remove the cap and filter screen for cleaning.

Caution
Do not force this removal. Be sure the locating pin is
clear of the hole before sliding the distribution tube
out.
