Some sounds include a second layer. You can control the volume of the second layer
right from the control panel of the piano. And, while in the RX Noise/Layer page of the
Editor, you can separately adjust the volume and equalization of the second layer. See
table on the next page for a list of the layer sounds that come as standard.
RX NOISE/LAYER VOLUME CONTROL
When a sound with a second layer is selected, you can adjust the second layer’s volume
from the control panel.
1. Press the FUNCTION button. A LED around the EQ - BASS knob should start
blinking.
2. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the second layer’s volume, or turn it counter-
clockwise to decrease it.
RX NOISE PAGE NOW CALLED RX NOISE/LAYER [SV-1 EDITOR]
In the Editor, the RX Noise page is now called the RX Noise/Layer page. RX Noise
editing controls can now be also used to edit the second layer included in some
sounds.
RX NOISE/LAYER PAGE [SV-1 EDITOR]
Apart for the name, this page of the Editor remains the same as before. You can use the
same controls (Volume and EQ) for either the RX Noise or for editing the second layer,
depending on the type of sound selected.
