      Angela FosterAug 11, 2025
If water is leaking between the filter head and the filter cartridge in your Kraus Water Filtration System, it could be due to a damaged, dirty, or misplaced O-ring. To resolve this, turn off the water supply and relieve the water pressure. Remove the filter cartridge and inspect the O-rings for any damage or debris, making sure they are correctly positioned. Reinstall the filter cartridge, turn the water supply back on, and check to see if the leak has stopped.

If your Kraus Water Filtration System is leaking at a tubing connection, it might be because the tubing isn't cut straight or is damaged. Here's how to fix it: 1. Turn off the water supply and relieve the pressure. 2. Remove the Quick Connect Lock Tab. 3. Press the collar around the fitting where the leak is and gently pull the tubing out. 4. Use a sharp utility knife to cut off about 1/2 inch (13 mm) from the end of the tubing to ensure a clean, square edge. 5. Push the tubing back into the fitting. 6. Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks.
