3. 5 COLD MODE
Option A: The machine is switched off.

Touch the temperature selectioniconto start the machine
in cold mode. A cold beverage can be prepared
immediately.
The cold mode must only be used with dedicated
cold products, e. g. Cappuccino Ice.
Option B: The machine is switched off.

Open the locking handle. The machine switches on
automatically. Touch the temperature selectioniconwithin
10 seconds after starting the machine to change to cold
mode (blue). A cold beverage can be prepared immediately.

Option C: A hot beverage has beenpreparedor the cold
mode was not selected within 10 seconds after starting the
machine. Touch the temperature selection iconto go into
cold mode. The temperature selection iconwill blink blue to
indicate that the machine needs to cool down.

To accelerate the cooling, select level 7 on the bar display.
Touch the start/stopicon. Machine starts rinsing. The bar
display lights vanish progressively.

Empty the container. The temperature selectionicon is
steady blue to indicate that the machine is cooled down and
a coldbeverage can be prepared.
